What you get with Notary Hub

Step 2: Apply to Become a Notary Public with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions

You must be a commissioned Wisconsin Notary Public before performing remote online notarizations.
No additional licenses or commissions are required beyond this.

However, you must comply with the state’s established RON requirements as detailed in
Wisconsin DFI RON Guidelines (PDF).

Be sure to use only approved RON technology providers when performing notarial acts remotely.

Step 3: Complete Your Notary Hub Onboarding & Training Materials

All new Notary Hub users must complete onboarding to ensure proper use of our platform and approved technology.
During onboarding, you’ll learn how to:

  • Conduct RON sessions securely and efficiently.
  • Manage your digital journal entries and video session recordings.
  • Comply with Wisconsin’s technical and procedural standards.

Notaries should not perform remote online notarizations until they’ve completed onboarding and feel confident using the tools.

Step 4: Confirm You’ve Been Added to Wisconsin’s Authorized RON List

After completing onboarding & training materials, notify Notary hub by emailing info@notaryhub.com with the email subject being: 'WI Notary - Onboarding & training Complete' and Notary Hub will notify the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) within 14 days that you’re authorized to use our platform.

You can confirm your listing by searching your name in the
Wisconsin Notary Public Search.

If your name does not appear as RON-authorized after 14 days, please contact our
Notary Hub Support Team so we can assist in updating your record.

Once you’re listed, you are fully approved to perform Remote Online Notarizations in Wisconsin through Notary Hub by Everything Legal.
