Before you can use the Notary Hub platform by Everything Legal, you must be currently commissioned as a traditional notary.

Note: If you do not already have a notary license, you must complete that as your first step.

Obtain your Electronic Notary Seal, Electronic Signature, and Digital Certificate from our partners at SSL through our all-in-one platform. [Get Your Digital Certificate](X509 Certificate Setup Guide).

Everything Legal also provides you with the required Electronic Journal for documenting your remote online notarizations.

Step 2: Complete the Electronic & Remote Notary Request for Change Form

After contracting with a RON system (NotaryHub.com), complete and submit the
Electronic and Remote Notary Request for Change Form

You must also provide documentation from Notary Hub showing that you have created your account—this can be:

Step 3: Receive Confirmation from the State

After the Secretary of State confirms your approved RON system,
Notary Hub by Everything Legal will be officially added to your notary profile.

You may begin performing electronic and remote notarizations once the SOS has processed your information.

Note: The processing period may take some time. Ensure your system details are properly submitted before performing your first remote notarial act.

Once approved, you are authorized to perform Remote Online Notarizations (RON) in Michigan using the Notary Hub platform.
