Step 2: File a Remote Online Notarization Application with the Secretary of State

If you are currently commissioned as a notary public and have filed an approved bond with the Secretary of State, you can request authorization to perform Remote Online Notarizations (RON) by filing the Remote Online Notarization Application.

The filing can be completed online at the Secretary of State’s website and requires a $25.00 filing fee.

Step 3: Receive Authorization and Begin Performing RONs

Once approved, the Secretary of State will provide written authorization to perform remote online notarizations during the term of your notary commission.

Oklahoma does not require additional training or an exam to apply for RON authorization.
After submitting your application and payment, notify the Secretary of State that you will be using Notary Hub as your RON technology provider.

You must wait for official authorization from the Secretary of State before conducting any remote online notarizations.
