[MO] How to get your RON/Electronic Endorsement in Missouri​
Before you can use the Notary Hub platform by Everything Legal, you must be currently commissioned as a traditional notary.
Note: If you do not already have a notary license, you must complete that as your first step, or apply for a commission at the same time you apply to become a RON.
Steps to Become a RON in Missouri​
Step 1: Sign-up & Create Your Account With NotaryHub.com by Everything Legal​

Everything Legal also provides you with the required Electronic Journal for documenting your remote online notarizations.

Step 2: Complete a Remote Notary Training Course and Pass the Exam​
All Missouri notaries must complete a remote notary training course approved by the Missouri Secretary of State.
Before submitting your application:
- Read the Missouri Notary Public Handbook.
- Complete the required course on remote notarization procedures and ethics.
- Pass the state-administered exam with a score of 80% or higher.
Step 3: Complete the Remote Online Notary Application​
After passing the course and exam:
- Fill out the Missouri Remote Online Notary Application.
- Email the completed form to commissions@sos.mo.gov.

Authorized Remote Notarial Acts in Missouri​
Missouri only allows the following acts to be performed remotely:
- Taking acknowledgments
- Performing jurats
Bonding and Insurance Requirements​
- A $10,000 surety bond is required for your traditional notary commission.
- As of now, there are no additional bonding requirements for remote notarization.
- Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.
