[NE] How to get your RON/Electronic Endorsement in Nebraska

Before you can use the Notary Hub platform by Everything Legal, you must be currently commissioned as a traditional notary.

Note: If you do not already have a notary license, you must complete that as your first step.

What you get with Notary Hub


Step 2: Submit the Online Notary Registration Form & Pay the Registration Fee

To become a Remote Online Notary in Nebraska, complete and submit the
Online Notary Registration Form
along with the $50 registration fee to the Nebraska Secretary of State’s Office.

You must already be a Nebraska notary public before applying.

When completing the form, identify your approved RON solution provider as:

Step 3: Complete the Required Training Course & Pass the Exam

Once your registration form is approved, you will be invited to register for the mandatory state RON training webinar.

After completing the course, the Secretary of State will email you a test.

Step 4: Receive Your Commission & Complete Your Onboarding

Upon passing the test, you will receive your Online Notary Commission Certificate via email.

Once received:

  • Log in to your Notary Hub dashboard.
  • Complete the “Commission Received” onboarding step by confirming you’ve received your certificate.
